Mothers:
A mother who stalked and seduced the biological son she gave up for adoption some ten years ago has been charged with rape.
The 35-year-old Detroit woman, pictured, tracked down her teenage son (age withheld) using the Internet, after giving him up for adoption and not seeing him for 10 years.

Once she tracked him down, she is alleged to have seduced him; whether the boy knew the woman he had sex with was his mother is not clear.

Police got wind of incident and charged her with criminal sexual conduct, as the boy was underage; it seems likely the “rape” she is charged with is statutory rather than forceful.

The woman denies the charges, and was released on bail after surrendering to police.

A local psychiatrist clearly has not read any hot incest ero-manga, or at least is not a fan of such:

“Our first reaction to hearing about something like this is that this is every man’s nightmare. It’s an abomination.

I’m at a loss for words because it’s something that we consider to be so out of the normal, so prohibited in every culture that it unnerves every man just to think about it.

This could be his first sexual experience, and his first sexual experience could be something so conflicted, so unusual, so prohibited that it will stay with him for life.”

China ripping off certain lame animes:
China’s top state run broadcaster is being accused of plagiarising elements of Pokémon and Naruto in its latest children’s anime, not long after it was discovered to have shamelessly copied 5cm Per Second wholesale; the broadcaster obstinately denies the charges, saying there is a difference between “plagiarism” and “imitation.”
Chinese Central Television (or CCTV), under the direct control of the Chinese Communist Party’s Central Propaganda Department, recently began airing 恐龙宝贝之龙神勇士, loosely “Dinosaur Baby Holy Heroes,” but Chinese anime fans soon spotted the fact that the anime was copying character designs, story and music from a variety of Japanese anime, most notably Pokémon, Digimon and Naruto.

The director of CCTV’s Children’s Channel was soon confronted over the issue, but he angrily denied all wrong-doing, saying it was a matter for the studio responsible, and then asking those doubting the work to “consider the difference between imitation and plagiarism.”

With the government having banned non-Chinese anime from TV due to fear of foreign influences and to foster homegrown anime, domestic producers have struggled to satisfy demand, generally producing anime of very low quality, loathed by many Chinese for its highly propagandistic nature.

This difficult position, coupled with the lack of respect for copyright the mainland is notorious for, seems to have led many studios to simply plagiarise Japanese anime, frequently passing it off as “100% domestic,” and often doing so in direct collusion with the state.

More China:
Chinese visitors to a notorious village street in Hubei province were recently met with a shocking scene.

With no municipal waste disposal service whatsoever, and no initiative on the part of residents, the garbage is simply dumped on the side of the street, abutting a river (itself already polluted).

However, dense clouds of flies soon form, so someone sets fire to the refuse to drive them off.

This causes the rubbish to burn slowly for days, spreading a disgusting miasma of smoke from burning filth and plastic throughout the area, which happens to be used by children on their way to school and students on their way to university.

After the rubbish is burnt off, fresh rubbish is dumped on top and the cycle repeats.

This “waste management” approach has apparently been used for many years, with no end in sight.

Suing Bibles:
A homosexual is demanding $70,000,000 in damages from Bible publishers for printing a book which dares to condemn homosexuality as a sin.

The man, unsurprisingly an American, claims two Bible publishers “manipulated” their translations from an ambiguous condemnation of “abusers of themselves with mankind” to an explicit condemnation of “homosexuals.”

The King James Version of the bible, to many English-speaking Christians “The Bible,” exerted considerable influence over the English language as a literary masterpiece. However, its admonitions are frequently ambiguous, and its translation politically motivated or disputed.

For example, the King James Version renders a condemnation of sexual deviancy in 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 obliquely as:

Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind… shall inherit the kingdom of God.
Modern editions tend to favour much less ambiguous wording of the same passage:

New International Version:

Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders…

New American Standard Bible:

Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals….

New King James Version:

Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites…

English Standard Version:

Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality…
The man claims that the publishers of such Bibles caused him “demoralization, chaos and bewilderment,” by deliberately publishing “homophobic” versions of the Bible, entitling him to huge damages.

One publisher has denounced his claims as “ridiculous,” pointing out that they neither translated nor own the rights to the version they publish.

Most major religious texts take a dim view of homosexuality, so it seems he may have a very long string of lawsuits ahead of him.

Rubber Duckies:
A 10m tall rubber duck has been sighted on the waterways of Osaka.

The prosaically named Suito Osaka Rubber Duck Project, designed by Dutch artist Florentijn Hofman, has seen a 9.5m tall by 11m long rubber duck statue floated on the city’s waterways, for no particular reason. The duck has previously menaced other cities, but this is its first appearance in Japan.

Internet Slaves:
Nine women held captive for two months after being tricked into thinking they were in a reality TV show have been rescued; their captors sold scantily clad images of their prisoners online even as the public voted on which they preferred.

The group of 9 women, the youngest being only 15, were recruited to attend what they thought would be the filming of a “Big Brother” style reality TV series, set in an Istanbul villa.

However, the women quickly realised all was not as it seemed, and asked to leave; they were refused, and a period of incarceration lasting two months ensued.

During this time pictures of the women exercising and in bathing suits were sold online, with votes held on which were most sexy.

Turkish authorities eventually got wind of the scheme and military police launched a full scale raid on the villa, freeing all of the girls.

Runners getting stripped off meadals for gender stuff:
A “female” gold-medallist athlete is in danger of being stripped of her medals after tests revealed she is a hermaphrodite.

The 18-year-old South African runner, Caster Semenya, became a victim of her own success when a spectacular 800m win in the recent World Athletics Championships caused race authorities to order tests on her.

She is said to have biological characteristics of both genders, with female genitalia but no ovaries and internal testes.

However, legally she is quite female, and still passes hormonal tests as a female.

An official with the body ordering the tests explained the complexity of the situation:

“There certainly is evidence now that Semenya is a hermaphrodite.

But the trouble is the IAAF now have the whole ANC and the whole of South Africa on their backs.

Everything is going to have to be done absolutely by the book, no question of a challenge to our findings.

There’s all sorts of scans you do. This is why it’s complicated.

In the past you used to do a gynaecological exam, blood test, chromosome test, whatever.

That’s why the findings were challenged, because it’s not quite so simple.

So what they do now is they do everything, and then they can say look, not only has she got this, she’s got that and the other.

The problem for us is to avoid it being an issue now which is very personal: of the organs being a hermaphrodite, of not being a ‘real’ woman.”
Proud South Africans decry the doubts as “racist and sexist.”

Her family is particularly outraged:

“It is God who made her look that way but she is a girl.

I believe Caster is normal, inside and out.

What does it matter whether she can have babies or not? Many people cannot have children, why else do parents adopt? Are those women not women also?

We are a normal family who looked at a child when she was born, saw that she was a girl and raised her as any other family would do. Are we now being told that we are wrong?

We are very humiliated by what has been said and do not understand how it can be true.

This is a woman who was raised a female. She will always be female, no matter what people say.”
