\\*Of katanas, sex healers, and more....*//

Katanas:
A serial burglar was spectacularly slain with a katana after he broke into a man’s home; the man hacked off the burglar’s hand and slashed his neck, killing him.

Police have not charged the killer, as he was judged to be acting in self-defence.

The man whose home was invaded was a medical student at the esteemed John Hopkins University in Baltimore, living with several other students; he had recently reported a similar break-in in which laptops and a PlayStation were stolen.

Being confronted by another intruder, a 40-year-old career criminal just released from prison, with a long history of burglaries, he was in no mood to back down.

The burglar was discovered breaking in via their garage, and whilst police were summoned the burglar was confronted by the student, who was armed with a katana.

Police describe the burglar lunging at the student, who “then retaliated by striking him with a samurai sword, severed his left hand and gave severe lacerations to the upper torso,” fatally injuring him.

Police politely skirt about his unusual choice of weapon in a nation which prefers to commit homicides with firearms:

“I think everyone has the right to first of all defend themselves and defend their home and if this individual felt that a samurai sword was an appropriate tool to do so, I’m not in a position to say that’s good or bad.”
Self-defence and the right to bear arms, whether sword or otherwise, are of course highly cherished liberties in the USA.

A “sexual healer” who has treated some 10,000 patients estimates she has had sex with 1,500 men over her 23-year career, charging $165 a go, and seeing as many as 5 customers a day.

Qualified sex therapist Mare Simone, now 54, has now helped thousands of UK men with their sexual problems by having sex with them for money:

“I am helping improve and change the sex lives of thousands of men, which means I am also helping improve the sex lives of their wives and girlfriends.

Some women become baby surrogates because they want to help women who can’t have children. In the same way, I feel drawn to helping others have an intimate sex life.

My job is so fulfilling and enjoyable. Seeing my customers leave with a new-found sexual confidence is a wonderful sight.”
Of course, she makes large amounts of money in the process of her healing antics:

“I see about four or five people a day and charge around £100 for a session.”
She describes her days of sex:

“My clients are all ages, shapes, sizes and professions. They have either been recommended to see me by a sex therapist or former client or they seek me out through sexual surrogate organisations.

The men generally need help with erection and premature ejaculation problems or have been sent by their wives because they weren’t pleasing them in bed. Before they see me, they all have an STD test, and must always use a condom when seeing me.

I also have some women come to me. Their problems are usually that they can’t orgasm or have had bad lovers. I show them how to pleasure themselves and make them love their bodies.

Some visit me for a few sessions, while others have around 12, depending on the extent of their problems.

All of my sessions start in the same way. We start by chatting while I caress their hands to make them feel relaxed and confident with me.

During the next few sessions I move to giving them back and shoulder massages, so the client relaxes further while talking about their problems.

Following that, we do a mirror exercise. This is where the client and I will both take off our clothes and look at our bodies in the mirror.

Usually, they feel very timid about their bodies and find it difficult to look at themselves. But when they realise I am not judging them, they begin to open up and feel confident.

At that stage I move on to front body massages. I take over ‘down below’, showing them how they should be touching themselves.

Finally, it’s time to put everything into practice. This is the stage of lovemaking, so they can learn how to control themselves and solve their sexual problems.

Sometimes I will have sex with a husband in front of his wife, to show them both how to be more sensitive lovers. Often, couples find just talking openly to a stranger about the problems in their love life helps in the bedroom.

My job is basically to make people realise their problems are not just physical. They are in the mind and have a lot to do with self-confidence.”

I am a sexual healer and so proud and happy that I found my dream job.”

In the 20 years I have been doing this job, I have never felt miserable about going to work. I love what I do and have no plans to retire within the next ten years.
She describes how, after being raped at the age of 19 by a friend after taking a lift home from a party, a failed marriage a decade later convinced her she needed to tackle matters:

“My fear of sex put a huge strain on my marriage and I knew deep down it was due to the rape.

It was then that a friend recommended I start reading about tantric sex and sexual surrogacy.

Learning about this unknown world of sexual healing made me feel that there was hope for me to get my sexual confidence back.

It was fascinating and during the course I also realised, for the first time, that the rape I had endured a decade before was not my fault. I could enjoy sex without feeling dirty, ashamed or guilty.”
Regarding the legality of her profession, she insists that having sex for money is not prostitution as it is “healing”:

“I earn my living by sleeping with other women’s husbands or boyfriends. But I am in no way a prostitute as sex surrogacy is legal, as long as it is done in a therapeutic and healing atmosphere.

People are paying for counselling and to cure their problems – not sex.”

Truly a marketing genius.

BTW, she's definitely NOT hot. Got a pic.

PS3 game : Tales of Vesperia:

Responding to the complaints of Xbox 360 Tales of Vesperia beta testers, a developer has laid bare the not so shocking truth of just how Namco was paid off by Microsoft to secure an “exclusive” release, but instead merely used the Xbox subsidy to reduce development costs on the PS3 version, which it expected to sell better.

However, Sony intervened and blackmailed them into adding massive amounts of new content if they wanted to be allowed to go ahead with the PS3 release at all…

He goes into considerable detail on his blog:

“First off, it was easier developing for the Xbox 360. This is to do with the games I was involved with, but basically if you sign an exclusive contract with Microsoft (you won’t release it on other hardware for a year or similar), they will give you a lot of cash for development.

Their support is also very fast and complete in these cases.

SCE don’t really give much cash out (any at all perhaps). Their support is confused and unreliable. When I was doing it at least, the 360 was easier to develop for, which lowers costs.

As a result, first you develop for the Xbox, reducing development costs. But the Xbox version won’t sell [in Japan], you can’t recoup even those lowered costs at all.

So they ported to the PS3, it’s cheaper as you already have the game done, but then Sony came back and told them ‘We won’t recognise it if it’s the same as the Xbox 360 version. Make sure you put in a lot of extra stuff!’

If we didn’t then they wouldn’t have let us pass their check…”
He claims that the developers all wished to produce the best possible game with this opportunity, and had no intention of deliberately putting out an incomplete game; they were instead keen to produce a version that “even Xbox 360 players could enjoy again.”

He also claims traces of later additions found in the Xbox code merely fell victim to pressures of scheduling…

He goes on to pour cold water on the notion of a DLC Xbox 360 version, saying that it could take another year to convert all the development resources back onto the Xbox, making it impossible in practical terms.

This news seems to suggest that Microsoft has been cunningly funding the development of PS3 games by allowing developers to develop cheaply on its platform, accompanied by a huge grant paid for each “exclusive” release, with the developers then cheaply porting onto the PS3, with additional features as required…

From that post i got another X-Box girl pic.....or not....

Futa?:
Upcoming Square Enix game series NieR, to be comprised of NieR Gestalt on the Xbox 360 and NieR Replicant on the PS3, has already attracted attention for the revealing attire of some of its female characters, but it seems it has more in store: one of the main “female” characters in NieR Replicant, Kainé, is revealed to be a futanari…

Too many pics to post. They're all japanese posters anyway.
Her introduction runs along these lines:

Kainé

A female warrior and partner of Nier, she was part-possessed in a demonic attack, and became a hermaphrodite (futanari).

As a result she was bullied from an early age, and out of resentment came to emphasise her female characteristics excessively through her choice of clothing. However, her demeanour, attitude and speech are extremely rough and masculine.
NieR Gestalt is thought to be an effort to appeal to international markets, though what the addition of a futanari says about Square’s hopes for the Replicant PS3 version is not entirely clear, though certain recent releases seem to come to mind…

Random game:
The pool of Japanese Xbox 360 “exclusives” appears to be shrinking fast with the news that ero-RPG Star Ocean 4 is to come to the PS3, its exclusive status having apparently worn off in much the same way as with the imminent Tales of Vesperia.

The news comes by way of a leaked release schedule indicating that “Star Ocean 4 The Last Hope International” will be due in Japan on February 2010.
Confirmed features so far are voices switchable between English and Japanese, and what look to be minor cosmetic changes and gameplay tweaks.

The language options presumably mean a dual language English version will also be released, and the game has indeed appeared briefly in the release schedules of some US retailers.

With Square Enix having betrayed the Xbox 360 so flagrantly, we can but wonder what awaits in a PS3 version, and whether the Xbox 360 release will turn out to be but a beta version as in the now notorious Tales of Vesperia fiasco.

Assuming of course that it escapes the wrath of a Sony check...
